Darion Garrison was born and raised in Southern California. He moved to Bloomington, Indiana at 21 where he started working for Walmart. Darion spent the next 25 years with Walmart which led him up and down the state, finally settling in San Diego where he has been for the last 20 years. He has a passion for training, developing and mentoring young people and maintains a mentorship role with many of those people to this day.

Darion has 6 amazing children, which all still live in San Diego. They range from 30 years old to 16 years old. He has a 7 year old grandson that keeps him busy. Darion and his beautiful wife Rebekah live in the East County and enjoy their backyard oasis, weekend getaways to Temecula wine country, the outdoor life San Diego has to offer and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With over 16 years of experience in aquatics, Shannon brings a deep passion for water safety, lifeguard development, and staff training. She has spent her career ensuring that lifeguard teams are well-prepared and confident in their abilities. A graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, Shannon is dedicated to mentoring others, fostering strong teams, and creating opportunities for growth and development. Originally from Orange County, CA, Shannon has lived in both Japan and Italy, experiences that have expanded her perspective and fueled her love for travel and cultural exploration. Outside of work, she enjoys free diving, discovering new culinary experiences, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two dogs. Whether in the water or exploring new destinations, Shannon approaches every experience with enthusiasm and expertise, always ready for the next adventure.
