Spencer Meinburg was born in California and has lived in Idaho, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Australia and Thailand. In 2013 he founded Travel for God Ministries and spent time in 27 countries over 7 months. 

Educationally he earned his Master’s in Business Administration with a Finance Specialization from Louisiana State University Shreveport and earned his bachelor’s degree with four majors and three minors from the University of Idaho. While at the University of Idaho, Spencer ran track for five years capturing two team titles and served as the Scholar’s President. He was the valedictorian speaker and selected for the prestigious Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year award at the conclusion of high school which earned him a spot at Walt Disney World on their wall of fame and was featured on the cover of USA Today and in the Sports Illustrated magazine.

Darion Garrison was born and raised in Southern California. He moved to Bloomington, Indiana at 21 where he started working for Walmart. Darion spent the next 25 years with Walmart which led him up and down the state, finally settling in San Diego where he has been for the last 20 years. He has a passion for training, developing and mentoring young people and maintains a mentorship role with many of those people to this day.

Darion has 6 amazing children, which all still live in San Diego. They range from 30 years old to 16 years old. He has a 7 year old grandson that keeps him busy. Darion and his beautiful wife Rebekah live in the East County and enjoy their backyard oasis, weekend getaways to Temecula wine country, the outdoor life San Diego has to offer and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Samantha Ditzenberger, originally from Chicago, Illinois, moved to California in 2018 to seek new experiences and opportunities. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Point Loma Nazarene University, with an expected graduation in 2024, Samantha is dedicated to her academic pursuits and eager to embrace what lies ahead.

Her professional journey began in education, starting as a preschool teacher and progressing to become an Interim Director of a Private Preschool. Samantha has over 8 years of experience in childhood development and has demonstrated a strong commitment to early childhood development throughout her career.

Brian Hernandez, an accomplished Aquatics Manager with a decade of experience in the industry, has progressed from a Pool Manager to his current role as Aquatics Manager at the renowned Plunge San Diego in Mission Beach, California. While Brian began his finance degree at Rutgers University, he decided to embark on his successful career in Aquatics. His educational foundation, combined with his unwavering dedication to aquatics, has been the driving force behind his successful career.

Throughout his career, Brian has displayed a deep passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for all swimmers. He has a proven track record of excellence, having served as an Aquatics Director in multiple states, including California and Texas. Brian’s commitment to ensuring a top-notch aquatics experience is the cornerstone of his work. He is dedicated to the continuous improvement of aquatics facilities, making Plunge San Diego a premier destination for aquatic enjoyment.
